Our Story

Our journey began with my wifes and I passion for travel, coffee, and a deep respect for our Colombian culture. Growing up first generation in the United States, we learned from relatives that every coffee bean carries a story-of hard work, family, and tradition. Today, we continue that legacy by traveling to Colombia as a family, sourcing small coffee farms in the coffee region, learning, and sharing coffee through our Cafe Avion coffee tour experience that reflects the same values of patience, dedication, and love for our culture.

For us, coffee is more than a drink-it's an experience to honor our roots, teach our children and others the value of hard work, celebrate the richness of Colombian culture in every cup, and most importantly give back to those hardworking communities.

At Cafe Avion, we want to educate our community by sharing the relationship of a coffee beans journey to its destination, the consumer by also offering the experience of a coffee tour, currently in Medellin Colombia. Taste and experience first hand the life and struggles of coffee farm life and the journey from a seed all the way to your cup of coffee. Through our coffee and coffee tours you are supporting the sustainability of a higher quality product.

Produced in small coffee towns, the efforts of these small farms and all the individuals involved is what cultivates our great brand, some receiving Rainforest Alliance Certification for maintaining its soil and conserving the biodiversity of its rainforests.
